Stars like Beyoncé Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker and Taylor Swift are fans of Elie Saab and his beautiful fashion creations. From now the stars can also surround themselves with a mist of Elie Saab’s first scent.

A fashion label without its own scent-creation is nigh on unthinkable nowadays. Lucky for us the Lebanese Star-Designer Elie Saab sees this the same way and announced the launch of Elie Saab Le Parfum for women.

Elie Saab Le Parfum is a distinctly floral yet subtle scent. The head note is made up of mild orange blossoms, while sensual jasmine fill the heart of the scent. The scent is rounded off with a blend of patchouli, honey, rose petals and cedar wood.

The perfume was created by the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian who is best known for his scent designs for Jean Paul Gaultier.

The body-line Elie Saab Le Parfum consists of body lotion, shower gel and deodorant.

All eyes on Christian Louboutin: or better his new pair of high-heels which have walked straight into the hearts and wardrobes of many celebrities. The Salsbour Sandals with their extravagant details have climbed the Mount Olympus of It-Pieces.

12cm heel, 2cm Plateau, leopard print and a fiery red make this pair of luxury heels a real highlight.

Middle of June is not exactly the time I want to be reminded of the inevitable – the next cold winter sneaking up on us. But considering the pictures I saw from the Miu Miu F/W Collection 2011 I’ll make an exception.

What to expect: 70’s Disco Fever galore! The shoes are adorned with buckles, glitter and plateau to boot. All in all it may take a little getting used to but we still have a few months time to fall in or out of love with this up and coming “newly-resuscitated” shoe-trend.

Again Asos has simply seduced me with its special collection. After Asos White – which I could have ordered “once down the menu” – the online shop has upped the ante with Asos Salon. A collection made for weddings, summer balls and other events. Plateaus in light shades of beige and taupe are combined with delicate lace dresses.
Just point me in the direction of the next wedding – I’ll know what to wear!

The first face of the Luis Vuitton „Core Values“Campaign is none other than Miss Angelina Jolie. The scene: Angelina posing cool and relaxed on a wooden boat in the swamps of Cambodia – a very natural depiction of the philanthropic mother of six.

What’s different about this campaign is that Angelina isn’t posing with some new handbag, but with her own well travelled and dearly loved Monogram Alto Bag. Even though this model is not in production anymore, I would imagine that an increased demand will bring this little beaut back on the market.

The campaign “Core Values” will be running for the next 18 months, showing different altruistic Stars known for their humanitarian engagements.

Since Kate Middleton – sorry,  Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – received the American President Obama wearing a REISS dress, the British Label should be well known to fashionistas. The Reiss fan page experience an enormous boost overnight and the Shola Dress was put up as a price (clever marketing I say). The dress is sold out and the online shop was down due to the high traffic.

A little virtual visit to the REISS online shop is rather worthwhile though – I found and fell in love with this beaut of a wedge. Intricate cut-out design, clear lines and subtle beige: this wedge has everything I want and need!

So we find ourselves smack in the middle of the long awaited Festival Season – time for a last minute shopping spree!

Alessandra Ambrosio showed us at the Coachella Festival how its done when the weather-gods play along: a light, fluttery, loose fitting dress kept in whites and cream colours looks stunning and gives you freedom to move.
But if you are planning on taking breaks, sitting down every now and again you should consider getting your hands on a jumpsuit: this feat should not be too hard considering that jumpsuits are trending hugely.

Considering that we are in fact in the UK and not the US of A, a jumpsuit with long pant legs might be the better option – or even light harem pants. These are comfortable, loose fitting and look great in combination with little tops and waistcoats.

Shoes! Don’t forget to wear really comfortable shoes. I for one will be taking a pair of wellies to face the floods of mud rolling my way at Glastonbury. For more optimistic people gladiator sandals are just the ticket – and look great with jumpsuits or harem pants.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively appeared at the premiere to Green Lantern in L.A, wearing a white couture dress by Chanel.

This floor length gown with flower application is a continuation of the love affair that has blossomed between Blake an Chanel – I wager that this romance will be be of a longer lasting nature that her new relation with Hollywood Star Leonardo DiCaprio. Bar Rafaeli seems to be happy without good ol’ Leo, raising the question whether young Blake has picked the right prince.

Be that all as it may, one thing is for certain: Blake looks simply amazing in Chanel, so it’s no wonder really Karl Lagerfeld has chosen her as his favourite.

Who hasn’t fantasised looking like a star parading across the red carpet? Or at least capture some of the glitz and glam for themselves? It’s not entirely impossible, I’ll have you know! So what about a Lanvin red carpet outfit by none other than the stunning Blake Lively? Tuned down a notch it can be turned into a gorgeous outfit suitable for lesser carpets and city pavements.

The key to her styling success is statement jewellery which can turn a straight lined outfit into a real highlight. In the Lanvin case the large insect adorning the opulent neckpiece of the dress literally makes the outfit.

The young actress is blessed with this stunning dove grey designer dress and a lovely figure to be hugged by it. For us mere mortals wearing such an (expensive) designer dress is probably out of the question, but that shouldn’t stop us from being inspired by it.

All we need is an opulent necklace – or even an insect necklace by lanvin –a grey bandeau top, a romantic chiffon skirt and a light brown belt (potentially matching shoes) et voila: star outfit à la Blake Lively.

It’s official: our favourite smart girl/cute actress Emma Watson is the new face for Lancome Trésor Midnight Rose.

The scent for women is a floral sister to the classic Trésor from 1990.

With this engagement our lovely Brit follows the footsteps of film and fashion icons such as Julia Roberst, Kate Winslet, Julia Restoin-Roitfield and Penelope Cruz – all of which have graced the campaigns of Trésor.

So far the scent composition, bottle design or perfumer has not yet been revealed or even decided. What we do know is that Mario Testino will be in charge of the Midnight Rose shoot with Emma – and from his previous engagements with Dolce&Gabbana, Armani, Calvin Klein and Versace we also know that his photos always work out beautifully.

You simply can’t beat French chic: stylish, cute and simple - designer Alexis Mabille mixed these traditional attributes with a little glamour, creating a stunning jewellery collection.

Mabilles designer career started in Lyon, creating costumes and party outfits. As any up and coming French designer worth his seams, he headed to Paris learning his trade. He designed for a few renowned names, such as Dior, creating beautiful jewellery pieces for non other than John Galliano.

Now, Mabilles has his own successful label: next to fashion and accessories we are presented with beautiful pieces of jewellery. Bows play a big part; appearing in a number of varieties, be it in the shape of necklaces or earrings.

Mostly, his designs are kept in classic black or trendy powder tonesand adorned with a good helping of crystals to create cute glamour it-pieces.

When looking at the summer wear in certain shops; especially Miss Selfridges, TopShop and River Island, you can really see a resemblance to the current summer collection by Marc Jacobs. Flowing materials kept in summery red nuances, transparent details, asymmetric lines and a whole lot of frill, flounce and blossom applications. Palazzo trousers and ankle length dresses are certainly a big part of the 70’s fashion hype; not forgetting XXL sunglasses and hats of course.
One of my favourite Marc Jacobs outfits for this summer is the pink satin pant in combination with the transparent body in raspberry red. The satin shorts with bow detail (Very by Vero Moda) in pale copper could come straight out of Marc Jacobs talented hands.

I’m sure that if we keep an eye out for Marc Jacobs inspired pieces we will see a fair few over the course of this summer.

Looking at the filthy weather here in London (most of the time anyway) one does tend to dream about warmer regions…thus it is not really a wonder that many designers based in London, such as jewellery designer Merle O´Grady, take their inspiration from tropically summery regions. Merle takes her inspiration from Palm Springs; from the opulent Palm Springs lifestyle of the 60’s to be precise.

The resulting pieces of jewellery can be gazed at; and purchased, on Kabiri. The jewellery designs have a hint of futuristic Aztec flair, yet still emanating a certain retro charm-making the necklaces and earrings a real highlight. O’Grady likes to mix up her materials for example using Perspex which is cut with lasers giving it that edgy look.

My first contact with Lara Bohinc was a little while ago in a luxury store in good old London town. In the accessory department my eyes were drawn to brightly lit display cabinets containing entwined colliers that really caught my attention. The jewellery designs by Lara Bohinc are truly magnificent and have proven to be an eye catcher.

From opulent necklaces with large crystals, to filigree designs bracelets perfectly matching entwined applications on handbags or shoes. An unusually large ring is dominated by a stone the size of a bayies fist set in the middle.
All in all, the only thing left for me to say is: wow! Absolutely inspired; can we see more please?

A little quirky, kinky but feminine: those are the attributes of the British designer Duo; sisters Smith and their handbag label Angel Jackson. Bright colours, feather applications or sequins are a mere fraction of creativity by Kathie and Millie.
Not only can we find the classic handbag models like clutches, totes or satchels, but book and bum bags can also be found popping up throughout their collections. Unique pieces like a handbag muff are part of their ever surprising ideas.
Less dramatic but simply beautiful is the new tote collection; but feathers and fringe can’t be amiss…It wouldn’t be Angle Jackson without a little pomp and splendour, now would it?! Compared to the more extravagant bags, the shoulder bags are also prefect for daily use. I for one shall remain eager to seeing a lot more designs by Angel Jackson. And looking is all I will be doing for the time being because the stunning handbags have their price: unfortunately 300 GBP and up is not in my current budget…
